Bloedel Floral Conservatory
Bloedel Floral Conservatory is a domed display with a temperature-controlled space that houses more than 500 exotic flowers and plants. In addition there are 200+ free-flying birds that call the space home. The space has three separate climate zones (desert, subtropical rainforest and tropical rainforest), and is host to several exhibits and events throughout the year. VanDusen Botanical Garden
Much like other nature areas in Vancouver, the VanDusen Botanical Garden offers a beautiful escape from the bustle of the city and everyday life. The land, which was once a golf course, has been carefully developed and maintained by staff and volunteers. The plant life in the Garden moves guests through multiple ecosystems, from the Mediterranean to the Himalaya and on to the Pacific Coast. The garden is designed so that it can be wandered through freely or via guided tour. Either way, you are sure to enjoy the visit. Nitobe Memorial Garden
If you are seeking a tranquil spot to take a break and reconnect with nature, this is the spot for you. The Garden is full of calming streams, splendid waterfalls, lush landscape and even a peaceful Koi pond. The cherry blossoms will be blooming soon, which add more beauty and color to this amazing landscape. This Japanese Garden has been perfectly replicated and maintained to create as authentic a representation of Japanese horticulture as possible outside of the islands of Japan.
